Magical Winter Wedding

Nobelius Packing Shed

The large sliding timber doors at the entrance to the Venue were styled overhead with huge rambling branches of russet Autumn leaves. Next to the doorway, a customised Welcome sign hung from a Copper stand, adorned and surrounded by more Autumnal foliage, lush florals and antique black coach lanterns. The elegant Welcome sign of emerald green finished with rose-gold foil lettering set the scene and provided a clue to what lay inside the venue...

Inside the venue was styled for an intimate seated Wedding reception, with two long rows of tables and beautiful copper chairs. Lush installations of hanging textural foliage and pendant festoon lights were suspended over both of the long tables.

The grand old brick fireplace provided an ideal focal point between the two long tables. This was styled with more branches of russet toned Autumn leaves, pillar candles and ‘fallen’ leaves. Atop the vast timber mantlepiece perched a neon “love made us do it” sign, with a circular peachy toned acrylic backing.

The tables were laid with textural linen cloths in rich forest green and a softer seafoam green, with the same colour napkins, reversed on each table. Delicate runners of ivory cotton gauze, with beautiful raw edges, twisted their way down the centre of each long table, providing a canvas for a generous array of cone, taper and pillar candles in warm shades of latte, baked clay with dramatic black. Scattered down the tables amongst the sea of candles were floral centrepieces in rich tones of deep burgundy, toffee, latte, russet and peach. These were styled in a range of vessels and featured roses, lisianthus, chrysanthemums, andromeda, thryptomene, dried bracken, magnolia and Autumnal foliage . Each place setting was styled with luxe matte black plates, rose-gold cutlery and elegant smoked glassware.

The Table Menus featured emerald green text printed on thick ivory toned cotton card stock, with a delicate rose gold foil Magnolia design.

The stationery suite and coordinating table menus, in a rich moody palette, were inspired by the surrounding hills and the local Magnolia blooms in season (and used in the floral work styling the venue). The invitations featured emerald green text printed on thick ivory cotton card stock, with the delicate detail of a rose gold foil Magnolia, paired with matching additional cards and luxe emerald green envelopes. These were finished with a sheer vellum wrap, copper cotton twine and marbled emerald and copper toned wax seals.

On the covered verandah outside, Babaji’s Kitchen served up their delicious south Indian street foods and fresh drinking coconuts, from their beautifully restored vintage street food cart.
